I don't know the details, but I'm sure that if you already have the sounds, you can convert them into some kind of a Newton package that you could download to your Newton. I've seen a
lot of sounds packages that let you pick different alert/alarm sounds than the one that are built-in. At that point, I'm not sure what you could do with those sounds, except to pick
them as alarm/alert sounds. There might be an application that would let you play them to your heart content, but I've never heard of such an app.
I'm not really in the knowing, but it might also be easily possible to write such an app, if all you want is to play sounds.
